Version 1.9
@Non-functional change. Reconstruction parameters now are read from RATDB if FIT_POISSON exists, otherwise uses same as before. The RATDB file is the same as in the code, currently.

Version 1.8
@Finished up RATDB-based detector geometry creation. It replaces our
hard-coded geometry construction, and should be general enough to do
both the PMT and veto geometries with the same code. This code is now
wired into the rest of RAT, and is being used to build the detector.
Still working on translating veto geometry text file into RATDB text file
format (and checking dimensions along the way). Once done, we can retire
the veto-specific geometry parser and builder classes.

Version 1.7
@Check if there are any samples before using the first one as the charge on
the channel. (The fact that there are hits with no samples might mean
there is also an algorithm bug somewhere, but this stops the crashing.)

Version 1.6
@New DAQ code---this includes a FrontEnd simulation to sample the PMT
photon hits, a simple Trigger routine which wincludes retriggering (so positrons
and neutrons wind up in separate events) and an EventBuilder which puts PMT hits
(and their associated samples) inside their respective events.

Version 1.5
@Major rewrite of event data structure and RATProcessor API.
I think all of the code and macros here have be updated correctly.

Version 1.4
@NO CODE CHANGES, just comments. The specific programming notes that Dave sent have been in the RAT docs, where I put them, but rather should be in the code, which is where they now are.

Version 1.3
@Move around and cleaned up some code. The state is which the committed code was was sloppy. It was committed just so people can look at it at first, but now it should be more readable.

Version 1.2
@Energy reconstruction is now tuned for RAT and I renamed a few variables to avoid confusion between kinetic energy and total energy. Also, since some root macros were already in the structure, I updated and added some for reference. If these need to go into DOCS, I can fix that. I will talk more about the energy reconstruction and its implementation at the next phone meeting.
date 2005.10.05.05.32.19; author tunnell; state Exp;
Version 1.1
@Ported Fsim's reconstruction to RAT. The algorithm runs the same way Fsim's does, but it needs to be tweaked for RAT to increase precision.
