Braidwood Background and Simulation Group
Introduction
Goals: coordinate work on the simulation packages used by the
Braidwood experiment. The primary tools under development are
ReactorFsim, a fast parametric simulation, with a separate stand-alone
muon veto/passive shielding simulation that can share information with
ReactorFsim. We are also beginning development of a full detector
simulation with GEANT4.
We focus on using the simulation tools for background calculations
as discussed in Section 2.3 of the 2004
R&D proposal. Group leaders: Tim Bolton and Matt Worcester.
Mailing list: bw_sim@hep.uchicago.edu
and hypermail archive.
